Central Texas College Associate Degree

Central Texas College (CTC) is ranked as one of the best online engineering community colleges and offers students an accessible point of entry for eventually transitioning into a four-year degree program. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, CTC offers an Associate of Science in Engineering.

CTC’s online engineering program was designed for those looking to eventually pursue a bachelor’s degree, as all lower-level coursework can be transferred to a four-year university in Texas. Full-time students can complete the associate degree in two years and will take a variety of classes in general education and engineering. Degree-specific courses include:

  • Calculus
  • Engineering Mechanics
  • Mechanics of Materials

In order to graduate, students will complete 60 credit hours. Tuition is $95 per credit hour for resident in-district students and $119 for resident out-of-district students. Active-duty military can use the Military Tuition Assistance Program to cover the cost of tuition at CTC.
